EU MODEX
With EU Module Exercises (EU MODEX) Urban Search and Rescue Modules, Emergency Medical Teams and other Response Capacities should get the chance to train their preparedness for a deployment in the context of full-scale exercises.
27.-31. January 2025 Lisbon, Portugal
The second exercise of EU MODEX cycle 12 took place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 27 to 31 January 2025. The exercise combined Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) and Emergency Medical Team (EMT) operations. Together with international teams from Croatia, Germany, Spain, Italy and Netherlands
More than 1200 people, national and international, were involved in the largest EU MODEX to date. Over the course of five days, the focus was on refining disaster response tactics, from search and rescue operations to the provision of vital medical support and interoperability between different teams.
