In 2019 five exercises for Civil Protection Modules and other Response Capacities were conducted throughout Europe. Urban Search and Rescue Modules, Emergency Medical Teams and other Response capacities got the chance to train their preparedness for a deployment in the context of a full-scale exercise.

The ninth EU MODEX cycle completed

From January to September 2019, the consortium of the EU MODEX Lot3 conducted on behalf of the EU Directorate-General for Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid Operations five Module Exercises within the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. The last exercise of the ninth cycle was completed in Poggioreale/Italy. Please find photos and footage free of charge below.

EU MODEX continues in 2019/20

Civil protection and disaster response teams applied for participation in an EU Module Exercise for 2019/20. Lot 3 and 5 will conduct four USAR and two medical exercises within five different Member States of the Union Civil Protection Mechanism. Please find locations and dates on the map.

The “European Union MODEX material” e.g. footage and photos, are provided free of charge by the consortium of EU MODEX Lot 3 and 5. Any party which is using the EU MODEX material must accept the following agreement:
The ownership and the copyright of EU MODEX material is indicated by “© www.eu-modex.eu” in production/closing credits.
EU MODEX material may only be used for public relation purposes and broadcasting if it is related to EU MODEX and/or the European Union
Civil Protection Mechanism (EUCPM).
EU MODEX material may not be used for commercial advertising.
EU MODEX material may not be resold.
The EU MODEX consortium can withdraw its consent anytime for using EU MODEX material for broadcasting or public relation purposes.
